As a Staff Product Manager, you are empowered to influence outcomes in the backbone of the American economy that ultimately, even in the age of AI, still comes down to good people doing honest work.
What You'll Do:
- Be a learn-it-all: Our world demands learning everything from how a retailer stocks groceries to how generative AI models can power on-the-job learning.
- Obsess about intricacies in everything from user onboarding and activation, to data driven marketplace dynamics.
- Partner with heads of Ops, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to develop a roadmap and execute to achieve company targets.
- Lead cross functional projects and own outcomes with laser focus on doing what matters most and doing it well.
- Nimbly switch between long term strategy and short term tactical excellence.
- Fall in love with problems before you fall in love with solutions.
Who You Are:
- Product Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Product Management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products that you're deeply proud of but still wish were a little bit better.
- An AI enthusiast: You’re up to date on the latest AI technology and have been trying out different tools that help give builders superpowers.
- Leadership Experience: Prior experience setting and delivering on a strategy you crafted, where you were accountable for the outcomes.
- Strategic: You can craft a coherent product vision, multi-year strategy and quarterly roadmap that your team and the business rallies behind.
- Business-minded: You are passionate about building businesses, not features. You not only own the user metrics but also own and optimize business performance metrics.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills and experience defining and understanding A/B testing, funnel analysis, and go-to-market playbooks.
- Able to understand when to use your strong analytical skills and when to use your qualitative user empathy skills to solve problems.
- Technically proficient: You have written at least one line of code that worked, and are very comfortable with SQL. You’ve likely also created architecture diagrams.
Nice To Have:
- Management: 3+ years of experience managing PMs.
- Experience working on growth teams and / or marketplace businesses.
- Hands-on experience executing product-adjacent playbooks like email campaigns, push notifications, gamification, no-code automations, etc.
For CA based applicants:
- The base salary for this position is $175,000 - $275,000
- This position is eligible for equity in the form of stock options
