About the Role

In this role as a Senior Mobile Engineer, you'll be steering the development and ongoing enhancement of our iOS app using React Native, contributing to a platform that stands out through its positive impact. Your skill set will also be invaluable in supporting our web app and backend operations when needed. Responsibilities

  • Write clean code for iOS applications, making sure they are scalable and reliable. Actively engage in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
  • Optimize the application's performance to enhance user experience by shoring up connectivity. Collaborate with the team to identify and address bottlenecks within the codebase.
  • Debug user-reported issues to deliver timely solutions.
  • Provide guidance to junior developers. Promote best practices for mobile development within the team.

Requirements and Skills

  • 5+ years with iOS app development
  • 3+ years with React Native
  • Experience with performance optimization for mobile applications, including working with connectivity issues.
  • Proficiency with iOS SDK and Xcode
  • Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading in mobile apps
  • Experience with app analytics tools
  • Ability to debug and address complex iOS app issues
  • Kind and helpful attitude
  • Experience developing for Android, proficiency with Android Studio (Bonus)

Details

  • The annual salary for this role is between $160,000-$180,000 + equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision) 
  • Flexible PTO
  • Location: Remote, US
