Insider is looking for an innovative, highly creative, technically experienced leader to own Ad Products Innovation. This person will be responsible for building and implementing an advertising product roadmap, planning the creative evolution of Insider’s ad products to be more innovative, premium and to create novel products for advertisers. 

This leader should have expertise with new ad and storytelling technologies and product executions that drive revenue, and position Insider as an cutting-edge ad products leader. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy for the evolution of Insider’s full suite of ad products with a focus on advertising experience, from research and development, to partnering across advertising and the broader organization, to building roadmaps, outlining milestones, to creating product marketing support and ultimately, bringing to the ad sales team and industry. 

This leader should be comfortable working cross-functionally with Insider Advertising’s RevOps, Creative and Global Ad Sales teams, as well as Insider’s Product and Technology teams. They must be able to develop and implement ad product innovation in the present day and importantly be able to architect a plan for 3-6 quarters out. 

This is a new role on the Advertising executive leadership team, is critical to the future-proofing of Insider’s ad business and reports directly into the CRO.  

Responsibilities: The VP, Ad Products Innovation will:

  • Lead strategic planning, development, implementation and go-to-market storytelling of novel monetization opportunities for Insider Advertising 
  • Own competitive analysis and market overviews, business development, planning and positioning of the ad solutions that drive value for clients, and our audiences. 
  • Manage product improvements with teams across Product, Technology, RevOps and Marketing to develop, ideate and name all offerings. 
  • Will collaborate closely with multiple functions across our business including Ad Solutions (responsible for the design evolution and upleveling of our ad canvases towards a more premium feeling place across our products), Product Marketing (responsible for ensuring the efficient and creative bundling of client offerings for Sales, whilst remaining innovative, market leading and premium quality) and work closely with a future Ad Products Manager (who will be responsible for liaising/partnering with Product & Technology on the Ad Products Innovation and ad product roadmap).
  • Collaborate closely with all groups including Ad Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing and Studios, ensuring they are informed and armed to bring all products to market. 
  • Present and represent ad product innovation concepts and ideas not only to our internal groups at all levels, but also in market, in client meetings, at trade events and more.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $175,000. - $185,000. (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
