Insider Inc. is looking for an inquisitive, dedicated individual with a passion for digital publishing to join as a Programmatic Account Strategist. This person will serve as a key point of contact for programmatic sales and external programmatic buyers on the programmatic strategy and operations team. This individual will be responsible for managing deal creation, technical troubleshooting, and revenue optimization, as well as generating insights for their respective clients and sellers. This role will also play a pivotal role in presenting new premium programmatic products to the team, while also augmenting existing solutions across the Insider Inc. portfolio.

We’re looking for someone able to learn new skills, work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarize themselves with multiple user interfaces with ease. The Programmatic Account Strategist will support sellers across the organization in all things programmatic.

The role will be crucial in driving premium programmatic revenue for the overall business through deal creation/management and onboarding, maintaining, and developing partnerships with different buying desks. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own end to end deal cycle from deal set up to troubleshooting, to ongoing scaling and optimization
  • Effectively communicate internally and externally for deal launch, optimizations, troubleshooting and enhancement opportunities
  • Audit all deals on a regular basis across all channels and partners, and become the main point of contact for Insider’s programmatic and data capabilities
  • Become subject matter expert in partner UI’s and be able to navigate reports to generate useful insights and be able to speak to SSP capabilities, inventory setup, and workflow
  • Maximize non-guaranteed premium programmatic campaign performance and revenue by preparing reports, analyzing data (performance and delivery), initiating upsell recommendations, and identifying tactical optimizations to further increase success rate and renew/grow current business
  • Join Sales on client calls and e-mail communication to answer tactical questions as well as further evangelize Insider’s programmatic value proposition and differentiation
    Partner, as needed, across internal teams to help ensure the client relationship continues to grow across all lines of business (direct, programmatic, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Experience in digital media, programmatic and/or data
  • Expert knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience working in SSPs (GAM, Magnite, Xandr) or DSPs (DV360, TTD) as well as Double Verify analytics and Google Data Studio preferred
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to problem solve and execute on creative solutions
  • Creative problem solver, with proven ability to reason through large ambiguous problems
  • Can quickly master the nuances of a complex industry with many moving pieces and constant change
  • Communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and in-person
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Drive, determination, consistency, grit and passion are essential

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: $80,000. - $90,000. (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)

Salary for the role is commensurate with experience and depends on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.

$80,000$90,000 USD
