Insider’s business division is looking for fellows to join our newsroom in June 2023. The fellowship lasts for six months. Fellows can work remotely within the continental US, Alaska and Hawaii.  

Our newsroom covers the biggest, most impactful business stories of the day and breaks them down for our readers. We cover everything from how major tech companies are adjusting to the new economic climate, to how the big banks track their employees, to the changing face of America’s real estate market, to what it’s like to be an assistant to top Hollywood talent. 

We focus on the culture of different industries, and we are looking for people who are excited to learn everything they can about their beat. Our fellows work on major editorial projects, interview industry leaders, and break news.

The Insider Fellowship Program is for early career journalists who want to spend six months learning from a newsroom full of passionate, dedicated journalists. Fellows are assigned to teams and become experts in digital storytelling. They produce real work that is distributed to our audience of millions, and by the end of six months, they are prepared for the next phase of their journalism careers.

Please note: Fellows are paid $20 an hour and are expected to work 40 hours per week. Fellows will also be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits on their 91st day of employment.
