As a SecOps you will lead all aspects of security operations and incident response in the company. You will act as a point of contact of the business for security incidents, and become the main point of contact for all SOC interaction while operating and responding to escalated alerts, notifications, communications, implementing and operating the most advanced security tools and technologies, owning vulnerability / security assessments and remediation, performing proactive threat hunting and finding security gaps.

You will:

  • Lead the Security Operations activities
  • Monitor and operate our security tools and controls
  • Become the point of contact for SOC alerts, communication, activities and escalations
  • Threat and vulnerability management and analysis
  • Manage incident response processes and prioritize alerts or issues
  • Perform root cause & incident response analysis to provide recommendations, action items and lessons learned
  • Support/develop reports during and after incidents, including all actions taken to properly mitigate, recover and return operations to normal
  • Support forensic investigations and application security analysis in reactive and proactive threat hunting engagements
  • Work with SIEM engineers and other security partners to develop and optimize detection, alerting and correlation rules
  • Support and work with other information security functions (GRC, AppSec etc.)
  • Continually and proactively search for new attacks and threats
  • Ensure required compliance as part of our technological stack
  • Gather and report on established metrics within the security compliance programs

You should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in the cyber security domain with emphasis on SOC, vulnerability management, implementing and operating security technologies and SecOps related roles.
  • Prior experience working with a SaaS company - preferred
  • Experience working in cloud-based infrastructure, e.g. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience identifying and developing responses to new threats and attack patterns
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Incident Response process as well as threat hunting, malware analysis, or cyber forensics
  • Experience with penetration testing tools and penetration testing methodology
  • Familiarity with various information security products and solutions
  • Proven experience operating at least 5 of the following security controls: Firewall, IDS/IPS, DLP, Mail Relay, MDM, Web Proxy, Endpoint Security, EDR, WAF, SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, Amazon Web Services (AWS) security tools
  • Good understanding of system log information, and knowledge of how to collect specific data/attributes as a necessary per-incident event (host, network, application, cloud, etc)
  • Experience in IT with Windows, Mac, Linux system administration - advantage
  • Formal cyber security certification (e.g CISSP, CEH, CHFI, CSX-P) - advantage
  • Formal AWS Security Specialty certificate - advantage
  • Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts (e.g python, powershell, bash) - advantage
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Excellent technical communication skills and the ability to effectively partner and collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders within the organization
  • Excellent business level english language proficiency, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills, curiosity, flexibility, and passion for technology
