About the team & Opportunity:
innovaTel is looking for both full and part-time Minnesota Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP), Working with patients across the LIFESPAN in an Outpatient Community Mental Health Center Setting. Accountabilities:
- Provide effective management of psychiatric care including initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management reviews in accordance with established clinical guidelines
- Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
- Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care
- Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the on-site clinical team, including inter-disciplinary consultation with therapists, case managers, etc.
- Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by compliance standards
- Be present and available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active nurse practitioner with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP)
- Active state RN/APRN Minnesota license in good standing
- Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
- Experienced in caring for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders
- Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
