About the Role
We at Innovaccer are looking for a Software Engineering Manager (Full-Stack) to build the most amazing product experience. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build a delightful feature experience to understand and solve our customer’s pain points.
A Day in the Life
- Participate in the project life-cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA, and delivery
- Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the product
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Review team progress and identify roadblockers in tech, process and operation
- Strategic planning and collaboration with multiple stakeholders including product manager in defining roadmap, implementation and delivery
- Actively participate in the recruitment process to identify and hire top engineering talent
- Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow your team
- Create growth plans and help team members navigate their career paths.
- Be the bridge between the engineering team and other departments like product, design, and sales
- Effectively communicate project progress and technical decisions to various stakeholders
What You Need
- 8+ years of experience with a start-up mentality and a high willingness to learn
- Should have worked in handling messages/events or batch data in large volumes
- Solid knowledge of Python or Java and at least 5 years of working experience with any web framework
- Experience in RDBMS (such as postgres/mysql) & NoSQL database(mongodb) and queuing systems such Kafka
- Experience in building large scale data platforms including warehousing, data lake, catalog management
- Working Experience in cloud technologies (AWS & Azure), preferably with EKS, MSK, S3, EC2 etc
- Experience in building large scale pluggable applications
- Must have good experience in Kubernetes and should know ins/outs of kubernetes
- Good understanding of the constantly evolving world of software development
- Experience with seamless integration of front-end to back-end functionality
- Excellent understanding of software design principles
- A belief in progress over perfection.
