Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director to lead the development of AI services in our platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AI, machine learning (ML), large language models (LLM), natural language processing (NLP), and deep learning (DL).

A Day in the Life

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of AI initiatives, from conception to production, in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Build and lead a high-performing AI capability team from scratch, recruiting and developing top talent in the field of artificial intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI opportunities, assess feasibility, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and strategic importance.
  • Drive the development and deployment of AI solutions that address key challenges and opportunities in healthcare, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and other AI techniques.
  • Establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for AI development and deployment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the AI capability team and across the organization.
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on AI trends, technologies, and applications, both internally and externally.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of machine learning algorithms and models.
  • Drive innovation in AI technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the platform and applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the AI team.

What You Need

  • Multi year experience in artificial intelligence, with a proven track record of success in building and deploying AI solutions at the enterprise level.
  • Demonstrated experience in building digital competencies, integrating AI technologies, and establishing AI capabilities within an organization.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and delivering measurable business results through AI initiatives.
  • Experienced with NLP, LLMs (extractive and generative), fine-tuning and LLM model development. Strong familiarity with higher level trends in LLMs and open-source platforms
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Healthcare industry experience is good to have.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
