About the Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for a Software Development Engineer-II (Frontend) to build the most amazing product experience. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build a delightful feature experience to understand and solve our customer’s pain points.


A Day in the Life

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and performant frontend code
    using ReactJS.
    - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code.
    - Debug and resolve frontend issues and ensure that the application adheres to
    the latest web standards.
    - Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of the
    front-end code.
    - Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
    - Work closely with the backend development team to integrate APIs and other
    services.
    - Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.
    - Assist in developing low to medium complexity backend features and fixing bugs.
    - Contribute to backend development using Python, Django, FastAPI, or similar
    technologies.
    - Work with databases such as MongoDB and Postgres, and cloud services like
    AWS and Azure.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of
    frontend and backend components
  • Secondary Responsibilities:
    - Innovate, contribute, and own end-to-end story deliverables
    - Collaborate with other teams to execute product deliverables
    - Solve problems from a full stack perspective
    - Contribute to triaging and fixing bugs and production issues
    - Participate and ability to conduct scrum ceremonies


What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong portfolio of projects
  • Primary:
    - Proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS, JavaScript, Git, HTML, and CSS
    - Familiarity with Node.js / Python / Java, other backend programming languages
    - Open for setting up CI/CD Pipeline w/ GitLab, Jenkins or equivalent
    - Committed to solve Performance & Scalability issues
  • Secondary:
    - Basic Unix/Shell Scripting for setting up sandbox environments and checking
    logs
    - Exposure on agile methodology and scrum ceremonies
    - Basic understanding of Cloud & Deployment Architecture
    - Know-how of observability tools like NewRelic, Grafana, Kibana or equivalent
