Strategic Partnerships Team Overview at InMobi

The Strategic Partnerships team at InMobi plays a pivotal role in managing and nurturing key relationships with strategic partners across the global ad tech ecosystem. Our primary responsibility is to design and execute strategies that not only grow InMobi’s Ads business but also enhance our competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Our focus is twofold: to stay ahead of emerging technologies in the ad tech space and to forge strategic partnerships with organizations that are developing and driving those innovations. By doing so, we aim to expand InMobi’s market share and strengthen our reputation as an industry leader.

We are a small team of high performers who don’t hesitate to get their hands dirty when a need occurs. At the same time, they are comfortable operating at the highest levels of abstraction to lay out strategies and plans for bringing innovative solutions to the market.

Key Areas of Focus: Measurement & Attribution

In particular, two critical aspects of the ad tech ecosystem that we are focused on are Measurement and Attribution. These areas are central to understanding and optimizing the effectiveness of campaigns.

By collaborating with partners across the measurement and attribution landscape, we ensure that InMobi’s platform delivers measurable results aligned with the objectives and KPIs set by brands and agencies. This collaboration extends to providing our sales and agency teams with actionable tools and insights to track and assess campaign performance. Through these efforts, we help advertisers understand the direct impact of their campaigns on InMobi, thereby building deeper, more strategic relationships with them.

As the Sr. Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with product teams and work cross-functionally with various internal Go-To-Market (GTM) business teams to align on strategic objectives and execution plans.

The right fit for this role will help us identify different partnerships and invest to go deeper with the right partners. Working with partners as well as with our sales and agency teams will mean that this role will be at the forefront of leading our efforts to align better with clients; to tie together the platform’s performance and effectiveness with the objectives and KPIs that brands and agencies have.

You will help find the right partner fit by continuously evaluating and meeting potential partners, use industry data and insights to inform decisions, and work deeply with respective partners to influence business outcomes. You will then take this a notch higher by collaborating with Product & Tech teams to innovate further on the back of these solutions and run with Marketing to share success stories of this collaboration with the world.

You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, based out of Bangalore, India, and be a part of a global team. The role is in-person and onsite in our San Mateo, CA office and is not open to remote locations. Some travel required for meetings and events as needed.

The Impact You’ll Make:

  • Work closely with the Measurement & Attribution partners to build relationships within their organization across business, product, tech, marketing, and legal teams and seek opportunities to activate and grow the partnership.
  • Contribute to building forward-looking strategies on key topics to help us grow and get a competitive edge in the ad tech industry.
  • Vet new partnerships or work with existing partners to make these key strategies a success.
  • Run all the existing Measurement & Attribution partnerships with a focus on deeper org-level connect, new product/feature enabling, co-marketing opportunities, commercials revisit, and joint GTM.
  • Build success metrics for each of these partnerships and make them a success by building and executing solid internal and external adoption plans.
  • This is a very cross-functional role, so internally you will be working very closely with the GTM teams, Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and the business leadership.

The Experience We Need:

You are passionate not only about solving problems, but about getting to the heart of them to solve the best way, not just any way. You have the drive and tenacity to get the job done and to inspire your team members to do the same. You have experience working in an extremely fast-paced and fluid environment where ideas can be obsolete within 6 months or less. You are hands-on in solving business challenges and can prioritize ad hoc tactical asks alongside strategic inputs. Most importantly, you have prior experience in working with Measurement & Attribution partners and understand how to go deeper and solve for the details on these subjects.

  • 8-12 years of overall experience, with prior experience in AdTech
  • Experience of having worked in companies that offer Measurement & Attribution solutions, or of having managed such partners directly
  • Experience in product or technology partnerships, ideally in a platform/SaaS environment
  • Solution mindset with strong qualitative skills and negotiation ability
  • Ability to work in a team and cross-functionally across time zones
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders across regions
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline required, or equivalent experience. An MBA or a Master's degree is a plus.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
