Overview
The Sales Planner / Program Manager will serve as a central coordinator and strategic enabler for the Sales and Client Growth teams, driving efficiency, scaling revenue opportunities, and improving operational processes. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—Sales, Client Growth, Legal, Finance, Product Marketing, and others—to streamline sales operations, optimize resource allocation, and support entry into new markets and product segments. Your analytical rigor, organizational expertise, and proactive approach will directly contribute to increased revenue, deeper client engagement, and sustainable growth across North America, EMEA, and emerging territories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Planning & Coordination
- Develop and maintain Quarterly Named Account Lists (NALs), ensuring that Sales teams have timely and accurate data to focus their efforts on high-value accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales and Client Growth to create customized proposals, vertical-specific pitches, and account-based research materials.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams (Legal, Finance, Product, Marketing) to streamline deal approvals, reduce delays, and ensure smooth account onboarding.
2. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Provide regular performance reports, market analyses, and actionable insights to Sales and Growth Managers.
- Track key metrics (e.g., pipeline velocity, conversion rates, revenue growth) and leverage data to inform strategic decisions and prioritize opportunities.
3. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce administrative overhead, allowing Sales and Client Growth teams to devote more time to high-impact, client-facing activities.
- Standardize workflows, documentation, and reporting frameworks to minimize fragmentation and ensure consistent execution across all accounts.
- Streamline cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Marketing to expedite contract approvals, improve compliance, and accelerate deal closures.
4. Client Growth & Account Expansion
- Support Growth Managers in creating account-specific growth plans and executing cross-sell/up-sell strategies to deepen product penetration within existing client portfolios.
- Partner with Sales teams to foster strategic client communications, ensuring InMobi ranks among the top partners for key accounts and secures a higher wallet share.
5. New Market & Product Initiatives
- Lead the operational aspects of go-to-market (GTM) initiatives for new regions (e.g., LATAM, META non-gaming) and emerging product lines (e.g., Android campaigns).
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and local market leads to develop strategic launch plans, identify priority targets, and measure early traction to inform expansion strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Program Management, or related roles within technology, advertising, or digital media sectors.
Skill Set:
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and recommend actions that support revenue and growth objectives.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce), data visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker), and productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, with the ability to pivot based on new insights and market conditions.
