InMobi has also built a second unicorn, Glance, which is advancing digital consumption and creating a new wave of disruption. Present on 400M devices across India, SEA, Japan and the US – Glance is one of the largest content platforms globally with~200M daily active users.

About InMobi DSP 

InMobi DSP aims to be the world’s most customer-centric mobile performance advertising platform. The core offering is the ability to own performance KPIs for a direct advertiser or agency, while providing full-funnel transparency into media, inventory sources, clicks, and impressions. The incumbent will be the resident trading expert and will help accelerate InMobi DSP’s growth in the broad proposition called “performance advertising”, covering mid to lower funnel campaigns, and by bringing in product, operations and business expertise in all of InMobi operating markets, with a focus on North America and Asia.

You have experience of working in an extremely fast paced and fluid environment where ideas can be obsolete within 6 months or less. 

Lead - Operation Data Science, Responsibilities:

As a ODS, you will have mastered campaign management skills and learn to apply to the company technology stack, understanding how to plan, create, and optimize Programmatic strategy. ODS consult with multiple stakeholders to ensure optimal campaign performance, participate in analytics and product testing efforts, and lead internal and client-focused research efforts to develop new best practices and cultivate industry thought leadership.

Roles and responsibilities: 

  • Work with the product and DS teams to understand the models and technical aspects of the product in detail and ensure that these are being leveraged operationally on every account 
  • Translate the day-to-day operational execution at an account level to transferable insights for product 
  • Combine data analysis, technical expertise, and client feedback to create optimization strategies and provide solutions for complex campaigns to meet client objectives
  • Help analyze accounts at a level of depth that is much higher than what is expected of an average trader 
  • Work with traders to implement campaigns, evaluate performance and optimize across dimensions
  • Work closely with internal teams to facilitate feedback from research and testing to better their product sets and supporting Trading collateral and training.
  • Act as a participant and leader in regular knowledge share sessions to support organizational education initiatives and nurture innovation, optimization, and integration strategies
  • Collaborate with platform, inventory, and data partners to develop, activate and optimize targeted programs
  • Troubleshoot issues on all pre-production and live campaigns Oversee campaign set-up of programmatic buys in DSPs
  • Oversee campaign QA process Support the development of process standards and train team members on the how and why

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with DSP platforms
  • Very deep analytically with a product / DS experience and bend of mind 
  • Ability to interpret campaign performance with regards to programmatic variables, and implement informed optimizations to achieve CPA, ROAS, or awareness goals
  • Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, SQL etc. is mandatory with 5+ years of experience
  • High level of problem solving skills and articulating the problems into product requirements supporting with data.
  • Knowledge in hypothesis testing, experimental design, and statistical analysis like time-series analysis or regression
  • BA/BS/BTech degree in Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or any other equivalent quantitative-heavy major
  • Self directed and highly curious
