What will you be doing?

As an Order to Cash (O2C) team leader or assistant manager, your role would involve overseeing the entire order-to-cash process, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the order processing, invoicing and cash application processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the billing and cash application team, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Set performance metrics and regularly assess team productivity and quality.
  • Assist in timely billing and accurate billing processes, including invoice generation and distribution.
  • Support billing discrepancies and disputes, working closely with clients and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Oversee the processing of incoming payments, ensuring they are applied correctly to customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of cash application records with bank statements and accounts receivable.
  • Analyze billing and cash application data to identify trends and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Ensure billing and cash application processes comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights into billing and cash application practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

What is expected out of you?

  • Oversee the daily operations of the billing and cash application team, providing guidance, support, and training to team members.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of billing processes and cash application, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
  • Identify areas for improvement in billing and cash application processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Generate regular reports on billing and cash application metrics, analyzing data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with Accounts Managers, Sales Managers to ensure alignment and address any billing-related concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations related to billing and cash application processes.
  • Fostering a positive team environment and maintaining open communication will also be crucial to success in this role.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to strategic initiatives that improve the overall billing and cash application function.
