To put our products and solutions into the hands of consumers worldwide, we need a professional who knows how to connect and communicate. We are looking for a solutions engineer to be the leading force that fuels our growing client relationships in our North American market. We are looking for Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, or similar professionals that are proactive, detail-oriented, and strive to improve the construction industry. The ideal person for this position will have proven experience in the AEC industry, be a power user of current technologies within the industry, and can display how the INGENIOUS.BUILD software will change the customer's business. You'll be a proactive and curious member of our growing sales team, identifying growth opportunities for clients before they identify a need or gap for themselves. This foresight and meticulous analysis will take our company confidently into the future. You will work hand in hand with our Account Executives to ensure that potential clients know exactly how INGENIOUS.BUILD can revolutionize their ways of managing projects.
In this position, you will:
- Support and solve problems for clients by understanding and exceeding their expectations through virtual product demonstrations
- Utilize your industry knowledge to develop and consult on client processes and become a trusted advisor for that client during the sales process.
- Become an INGENIOUS.BUILD product expert to understand the ins and outs of the platform
- Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities; compile and analyze data to identify trends
- Participate in brainstorming, office activities, and staff and client meetings, as well as research and assist with program development for existing clients and new prospects
- Assist the Customer Success and Product teams with feedback from customers
- Provide relevant feedback in product design for new features in development
- Consult clients on best practices to adopt within their businesses
- Proactively report and monitor bugs within the system
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and experience sought:
- Bachelor's degree in business, construction science, or a related discipline
- Three to five years experience in a solutions engineer role, project management, or similar role within the Real Estate and Construction Industry. The preferred background is with a General Contractor, Owner's Rep, Developer, or Solutions Engineer of a Construction Technology solution.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while tailoring demos to specific business needs of clients
- Ability to understand client needs and display proper solutions to them while live on calls
- Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM software, with an aptitude to learn systems
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects
- Must be comfortable with selling via email, videoconference, and telephone
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Start-up experience preferred but not required
