We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated QA Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

QA Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and Implement a Cohesive QA Strategy: Craft a clear QA vision that aligns with the overall product strategy. Design and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance strategy for assigned projects, defining testing methodologies, tools, and processes tailored to each project's needs. By actively championing this vision throughout the organization, you can foster a quality-centric mindset.

Teams Management & Mentorship:

  • Lead High-Performing QA Teams: Lead high-performing QA teams, cultivate a collaborative environment, foster a culture of ownership and accountability, and continuously invest in team development.
  • Empower Your Team Through Effective Coaching: Provide ongoing guidance, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional growth for your team members.

Testing & Process Optimization:

  • Oversee Comprehensive Testing Processes: Ensure the implementation of both manual and automated testing methodologies. Leverage automation to enhance efficiency, test coverage, and streamline workflows.
  • Champion Innovation in Testing: Advocate for the adoption of new testing tools and techniques to stay ahead of the curve. Continuously evaluate and implement best practices to optimize the QA process.
  • Drive Quality Through Measurement & Analysis: Establish and maintain a robust measurement and analysis process to track QA activities and performance. Collect, analyze, and interpret QA metrics, deriving actionable insights and recommendations to guide the development process.

Quality Assurance & Risk Management:

  • Enforce Rigorous QA Standards: Establish and enforce well-defined QA standards and best practices to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software.
  • Proactive Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle. Implement preventive measures to mitigate these risks and ensure project success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine testing strategies and processes based on data-driven insights and industry best practices. Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading and managing a team of testers.
  • Proven ability to motivate, inspire, and empower team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies, including manual testing, automation testing, and performance testing.
  • Expertise in designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Adept at identifying and addressing potential risks and challenges proactively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Possesses a genuine passion for software quality and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Eager to stay up-to-date with the latest QA trends and technologies.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative QA solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
