We are looking for an experienced IT Business/System Analyst. As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for understanding and analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing IT solutions, managing and tracking projects, communicating with stakeholders, and keeping up with the latest trends and technologies. This position also plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the business and the technical personnel within a project team, helping the company achieve its goals. The candidate must have a deep understanding of big data and product development technologies. The candidate also must be able to work effectively with technical teams to design and implement solutions that meet the business requirements, while also considering the unique challenges and opportunities of the IT B2B industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Interacting with businesses and developers from the design stage to implementation, quality control to project closure
  • Translating business ideas into clearly structured requirements
  • Formalization, documentation, and visualization of requirements
  • Interacting with the development team during project implementation
  • Developing and maintaining documentation: analyzing data and providing results using SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets; maintaining and updating version control documentation
  • Developing a project plan and tracking the progress of the project (control at each stage)
  • Conduct in-depth analysis for business-optimization projects
  • Perform systematic business analysis and develop innovative digital solutions that align with business/operation needs
  • Build an entire project lifecycle from concept to implementation
  • Provide appropriate feedback to resolve existing technical issues regarding projects

 To complete tasks, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, design and implementation, and quality control of software applications (in a similar position at a software development company)
  • Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Expertise in creating and describing different types of requirements (e.g., business, user, system, transition requirements, etc.) 
  • Technical background 
  • Experience with big data technologies and tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Experience in planning and conducting QA testing
  • Experience in translating business requirements into accurate technical specifications for the development team
  • Experience in task management (sprint planning, task distribution, change monitoring, requests)
  • Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with DBMS: an excellent understanding of databases using SQL query tools;
  • An understanding of API design principles
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Technical documentation skills: writing documentation for the full development cycle, as well as functional requirements, using Use Cases, data visualization tools
  • Higher education in the field of IT / Applied systems analysis / Cybernetics
  • Ability to optimize software solutions through research, analysis of business processes and procedures, and implementation
  • Advanced English (Russian proficiency is highly preferable)
