  • Be responsible for managing and growing a team of strong Project Managers and Partner Managers within the Hardware Department, ensuring efficient and aligned planning and delivery of the priorities and requirements as identified by the Product Team
  • Be a career coach for your team members in order to maximize development goals and grow individuals to their full potential
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between team members and drive continuous team learning, in particular on improving team processes, approaches, and performance metrics
  • Share and implement your experience on best practices for planning and delivering hardware products by multidisciplinary teams in an agile environment
  • Evaluate, manage, and remove the current and anticipated risks and obstacles that prevent the teams from delivering and facilitate escalation when necessary
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the delivery processes and roles and responsibilities, in particular related to the handover to operational teams and the handling of urgent requests
  • Establish a strong alignment and active communication with the manufacturing, installation, maintenance and certification teams outside of R&D
  • Ensure the project statuses and dependencies are aligned across teams and reflected in department timelines
  • Ensure the documentation, budget, and resource planning are kept up to date across all teams
  • Support your team by managing (cross-team) projects, where relevant
  • Develop and maintain a strong team culture that aligns with Infarm's corporate values and mission


  • At least 5 years of work experience in project management in hardware development, using Agile methodologies
  • Strong experience in building and leading teams
  • Education and work experience related to either Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Irrigation or HVAC engineering or equivalent practical experience delivering an agricultural / vertical farming solution
  • Experience with different Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM) and their benefits and limitations in hardware R&D 
  • Solid working knowledge of JIRA
  • Strong analytical, strategic and coordination skills
  • Great people skills paired with a high level of assertiveness
  • Very good communication skills in English
