Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of new hardware products by creating, owning and implementing the project timeline & budget planning.
  • Clear communication of the process, roadmap and risks in meeting project/product goals.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact throughout development with execution teams and stakeholders.
  • Staying flexible - realigning work, teams and stakeholders as new information is uncovered through development.
  • Managing indoor farming hardware projects/products that include hydroponic systems, software and firmware development, crops and data science.
  • Grow your skills and responsibilities to meet the ever-changing needs of the business.

Preferred Candidate Specifications:

  • Experience delivering hardware development projects.
  • An understanding of a variety of project management techniques, from both the agile and waterfall worlds, along with the tradeoffs between them.
  • You like to build cutting-edge hardware products, owning the end to end development process from ideation to the roll-out.
  • Excellent abilities of balancing project needs with business priorities and managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously while under pressure of completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to solve problems that come up during a typical work day.
  • You have a “can do’’ approach and you “act boldly’’.

Requirements:

  • A degree in either Business, Engineering or Natural Science studies, or equivalent practical experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of hardware engineering project/product management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English, German is a big plus
  • Tech-savvy and familiar with JIRA, Confluence and G-suite
  • Experience in hydroponic systems and Agriculture is a big plus
