Responsibilities:

  • Contact suppliers in order to negotiate quotations/contracts for certain services, goods and raw materials
  • Drive an efficient, transparent and ethical procurement process, and be able to be effective even when lacking established processes
  • Proactively identify and understand commercial/procurement needs from internal stakeholders and collaboratively propose competitive solutions. This may involve constructively challenging the business demand and procurement practices in order to drive value and efficiency for the organization 
  • Participate in transformational and cost-savings initiatives
  • Leverage analytics to make data-driven decisions and recommendations to Procurement Manager
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods so that business operations can run smoothly
  • Maintain strong working relationships with our vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor all inventory levels and determine appropriate delivery dates for all products and forecasts

Requirements:

  • A degree level (Business/Engineering) or proven experience within Procurement
  • 2 years of related experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of procurement for value, integrity, process adherence and negotiations 
  • Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to work effectively with a team and autonomously
  • Good understanding of finance, taxation and commercial issues
  • Experienced in Inventory and Supply orders software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly
