Our Farms Software Team is currently building and supporting software to support the Farms Operations Software team by providing monitoring and alerting for our entire fleet of farms, and control our vertical farms to provide the highest quality crops.

Our fleet of farms is deployed across different continents, from Münster to Seattle, and keeps expanding.

We work hard to continuously improve the quality of our farms. We want them to become more clever and data-driven, so that they can provide the best possible growing environment for our crops and nurture them to perfection. 

We use a wide range of technologies to achieve our goals, our tech stack includes: Python, Go, Influx, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, GKE, Typescript, Grafana, Terraform, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Cloud functions and many other things.

  • Participate in the development and maintenance of our software
  • Participate in the decision making process regarding development of new services
  • Design scalable applications
  • Help solving technical debt as part of our roadmap
  • Provide support to other team members
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge


  • +4 years experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of concepts like clean architecture and application design with testing in mind
  • Good knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with any cloud provider 
  • Experience with Docker and containers

Additional things we´d love to see:

  • Ability to work and communicate in a distributed team
  • Understanding of the importance of instrumentation and observability
  • Experience with InfluxDB, Grafana and OpsGenie
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, GKE and Terraform
  • Knowledge of Go and Protobuf
