We are currently building out both our data team and data warehouse infrastructure. As part of this process we are integrating many data sources into our Business Intelligence reporting and supporting our stakeholders in using our analytics visualization tools. Additionally, we are working on applying machine learning to offer our customers a better, personalized service. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be a key person in enabling our different business sectors to gain insights into their data. You will have input in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure and ETL pipelines, you will write SQL code and create dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools, while also taking part in a fun and rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business units on how to define and implement advanced BI reports
  • Write code (mostly SQL and/or python) to support extraction of data
  • Develop creative and engaging data visualizations which allow stakeholders to make data-driven decisions
  • Help identify, define and specify future insight and data needs to support the different business departments
  • Maintain existing business intelligence reporting and provide support to users

Requirements

  • Have 3 years of experience designing & building BI reports
  • Experience working with databases (Postgres / BigQuery / etc).
  • Experienced in using Tableau (Other visual analytics tools also a bonus)
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Strong communication skills
  • Eager to learn and act as a team member
  • Like to ‘’get things done’’ but still keep your work organised  
  • Have experience working in a fast-growing organisation i.e startups
