Who You Are:

The Operational Excellence team drives the continuous improvement of current activities as well as the business transformation of the company as it grows.

We support our colleagues from other teams on topics such as: operating model, processes, ways of working, and tools.

Whatever it is, we make it happen!

What you will do

As part of the Operational Excellence team, you will...

...be involved in multiple projects within our operations in the fruits and vegetables industry being directly accountable for the delivery on quality and time (currently with a strong focus on our german market).

...work in collaboration with other Project Managers when multiple expertise are required on a project.

...have a good command of German language related to technical food industry vocabulary.

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • You have a strong background and a professional experience in operations.
  • You have an eye for identifying inefficiencies, and a taste for improving the way the company runs!
  • You can work on multiple projects at a time, and your result-driven mindset will not rest until you have completed them!
  • You have demonstrated a high level of autonomy in taking your projects forward, but at the same time you know when you need to reach out to your Project Manager colleagues for advice or help.
  • You're not afraid of diving into new topics; you know where to search for the information or whom to reach out to in order to quickly grasp the stakes!
  • You are good at building strong and trustful relationship with people you work with.
  • You know how to translate complex ideas into simple and sharp messages, as well as adapt your messages to your audience.

Requirements:

  • You have a Master’s degree in Engineering, an additional degree in Business Management is a plus.
  • You have a total of 3-5 years working experience in a Project Management position in the fruits and vegetables industry or similar.
  • You have a functional expertise in managing excellence in Operations.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • You have very good graphic visualization skills to document and communicate your ideas (PowerPoint, or other tool).
  • You have a proven experience in Lean / Six Sigma tools as a plus.
