About the Role:

Industrious is the fastest growing co-working business in the US. Marketing will be absolutely critical to delivering against our objectives across many parts of our business: our core coworking business, our enterprise efforts, our real estate partnerships and our emerging businesses (e.g, Central.co). You will oversee and build a marketing team to help deliver on these business objectives, and also develop a premium brand that will be a core distinctive strategic asset for the company. As you do this, you’ll reinvent the way that businesses and freelancers find and select a place to work. The VP of Marketing will report to the COO.

As VP of Marketing, you will:

  • Manage our customer acquisition efforts across our online and offline channels for our 4 key businesses: Coworking, Enterprise, Central.co and Real Estate
  • Work with our CEO, Head of PR, and Head of Design to shape the Industrious brand, and oversee the execution of brand through our website, advertising, content, collateral and marketing messaging
  • Oversee and further refine our sales and marketing systems, infrastructure and reporting
  • Manage our inbound sales team
  • Nurture and grow our marketing team (currently team of 7 including the inbound sales team, likely growing to ~17 by the end of 2018)
  • Participate in development of our company’s strategy and play an important role on the leadership team

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of multi-channel marketing experience with a track record of exceptional results
  • Experience building marketing plans and forecasts for new products or companies
  • Experience managing a digital-heavy marketing plan with a high degree of comfort overseeing different digital channels (e.g., paid search/social) and website optimization efforts
  • Strong branding background
  • Comfort with numbers and experience working in a metrics-based management culture
  • High degree of comfort working in a scrappy, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire 7+ person teams to deliver exceptional results
  • High degree of comfort working in a team with other executives
