About the role:
As a QA Engineer on the Digital team, you will play a critical role in making sure we release high quality products to our customers. You’ll work with our Product and Engineering teams to understand the features we are working on and develop test plans to assess the quality of our websites and mobile apps. The QA Engineer will write E2E tests for our mobile application as well as help out with some manual tests from time to time. You will be expected to provide daily status reports, detailed defect reports, test cases documentation, and test effort estimation across multiple projects. Our ideal candidate is experienced in both manual/visual and automated testing and is expected to work from our New York headquarters.
Develop test automation scenarios for regression testing of our digital products
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Work very closely with front-end and back-end engineers to understand the inner workings of a product
Work with the Product team to clarify requirements and identify different use cases and usability concerns
Track, report, and communicate bugs to various team members
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
3+ years of QA experience
2+ years of E2E scripts writing experience
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, such as Cypress, Detox, Appium
Ability to design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Demonstrable experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a strong plus
Knowledge of cookies, caching, POST/GET requests, and network monitoring tools a strong plus
