About the Role:
Industrious is hiring a Facilities Project Manager to join our team to deliver high-impact customer experience initiatives for thousands of members. This person will be responsible for managing the development and execution of our capital improvements program, standalone build-outs and customizations for our Canvas members and one off customization projects for our Coworking members. As we scale, your work will be vital in creating and implementing new processes to support developing Industrious products across the portfolio. This person is passionate about managing the foundational and ongoing work that leads to healthy and scalable organization growth. You will work closely with cross-functional departments such as Operations, Construction, Design, and Salest. You must excel at interfacing with existing operating location teams by delivering proactive and clear communication. Success will mean providing stellar project management which will lead to the happier, more productive, and more connected workplace for thousands of customers. The ideal person will be hungry for meaningful and challenging responsibility at a rapidly-growing company. This role is based out of NYC and will report to the Sr. Facilities Projects Manager.
Diligently manage all facilities project tickets submitted in the Service Channel ticketing system and building maintenance portals. Ensure that response to work orders are of the highest quality, timely resolution and are cost-effective.
Manage and evaluate CapEx projects and budgets on a monthly basis, driving creative resolution for capital improvements and location needs.
Manage vendor proposals and invoices processes per specific project standards.
Provide vendor management to include recruitment of new vendors and work closely with the Senior Facilities Projects Manager and Regional Facilities team to ensure service level agreement standards are being met.
Responsible for vetting and executing on coworking customization needs across entire portfolio, responding within 72 hours of request being made
Work with Cross Functional teams such as Unit Operations, Design, Construction, Procurement and Sales as needed to ensure customizations can be met to member and Industrious brand standard satisfaction. The role reports directly to the Senior Facilities Projects Manager
5-7 years of work experience in facilities management
Enjoys continuous change and improvement
Ability to represent Industrious interests to outside vendors and Landlords
Capability to understand audiences and tailor communication both internally and externally as appropriate
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Experience in gDrive/Dropbox file management
Experience in gSheets/Excel to promote data integrity
