About this role:
We are looking for an experienced sales and business development professional to lead our enterprise sales efforts in Chicago. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for owning the local sales of Canvas, our product for teams of 20-100 people. In this role, you’ll be out in the market as the face of Industrious to commercial real estate brokers, and companies looking with a presence in Chicago. It’s an exciting time to join Industrious, as we’re growing our Chicago footprint by ~200% in 2019, and launching a number of new projects where our enterprise products are key.
Evangelize Industrious to various stakeholders that influence real estate and workplace decision making – mainly 3rd party brokers, real estate/workplace managers, and executives from Operations, Finance, and HR.
Drive revenue growth within enterprise segment – primarily focused on our Canvas suites, our product for teams of 20-100.
Manage full sales cycle – prospecting and qualification, through tour and contract negotiation.
Develop and maintain relationships with commercial real estate brokers – specifically focused on driving demand for Canvas suites.
Collaborate with our design, construction, hospitality, account management, and local operations teams to deliver an extraordinary member experience pre and post sale.
5+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial real estate
Experience in a closing role - new business or account growth
Proven track record of exceeding expectations
Ability to thrive and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with creative, technical, and analytical counterparts
Passion, enthusiasm, energy, humor, and the ability to convey this in person, as well as through phone and email communications
