The Sales Development Rep (SDR) Manager will build, coach and lead a team that generates demand by proactively contacting prospective customers and reactively responding to inbound leads. This person will manage a team responsible for generating meetings for the outside sales reps. The SDR Manager will develop a team that exudes high customer service and responsiveness and is very goal driven. This role will be based in Memphis, TN.


  • Core Metric: Increase the number of sales meetings booked per month.
  • Recruit & lead a successful team of A-players, coaching them to exceed their metrics and eventually become successful field representatives
  • Set aggressive goals for the team to achieve, including daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals (plan includes team members making at least 40 calls each per day)
  • Keep team focused and energized ensuring the team attains quotas
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement achieving progressive growth in conversion rates.
  • Consistently coach team members and develop their skills to improve performance and increase engagement
  • Build a scalable process that efficiently onboards new reps and shows them the most effective techniques for turning qualified leads into meetings.
  • Provide weekly reporting for management that effectively communicates activity, progress towards assigned goals, and opportunities for improvement by team and by individual team members
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, measured by achieving a 9/10 customer satisfaction rating and 5-minute response time for all inbound requests

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Has built a sdr/bdr/inside sales or call-center team
  • Has managed a team of at least 6 people
  • Has been a sdr/bdr inside sales person
  • Leadership experience
  • Proven experience managing teams that exceed quota
  • Experience managing a remote team
  • Start-up experience, preferred
  • Salesforce experience, preferred
