Key Outcomes:

  • Work with Head of Brazil and COO to finalize hiring targets
  • Work with the Head of Brazil to develop job descriptions and make develop a sourcing strategy
  • Help define the benefits and compensation in Brazil and ensure it is running smoothly
  • Work closely with the COO to make sure the culture in Brazil is consistent with the rest of Indigo’s global offices
  • Create and maintain engaged workforce through leveraging employee engagement tools and regular meetings with employees
  • Manages employee relations skillfully, utilizing knowledge, experience, and strong empathetic listening skills.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all employees and resolves related issues quickly
  • Creates international onboarding and training processes that are aligned with the rest of Indigo, and differentiated for specific needs for the Brazil market
  • Viewed as strong business and thought partner

Qualifications

  • Experience hiring teams; has a robust recruiting network established in Brazil
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with and manage different cultures
  • Experience managing HR/People operations within Brazil, with expertise in employee relations, benefits, and compensation
  • Finance/payroll experience strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of local employment laws, benefits, compensation, and other HR/People-related trends in Brazil
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least five years of professional work experience in HR or Recruiting
