The role of the Order Management Manager will serve as a bridge between sales operations and finance. It is their responsibility to manage the order cycle from sales operations to finance in a timely and accurate manner to ensure there is a smooth transition between systems, order acknowledgement, validation/integrity of orders, and making sure statements to customers are accurate. This person must have a customer service focused as they will be interacting with our growers.

 

Outcomes:

  • Work with sales operations and finance to review and refine the required processes to ensure appropriate controls over booked orders and consistency in order management function
  • Responsible for the validation of key inputs and management of hand-off from sales operations through oracle to billing, customer statements
  • Partner with SCM and Sales Operations to continue to evaluate the system and ensure the underlying system supports scalable business processes in light of evolving business models
  • Handle US and international credit review process, including financial statement level review and provide recommendations, as applicable
  • Support development of process/framework for order management from pricing committee decision to report generation
  • Collaborate with finance team and sales operations to develop applicable statements under Indigo production model to ensure clear accurate expectations are provided
  • Work with technical accounting group to provide appropriate support and documentation to enable on-going revenue recognition analysis
  • Location flexible - Boston or Memphis

 

Competencies/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in order management with international experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Oracle experience preferred
