As a Product Manager for the Indigo Insights product, you will be responsible for driving the development of our suite of products that provide and enable prescriptive agronomic advice.  You will champion the definition of use cases and jobs to be done for the product platform.  You will be responsible for the vision and execution of the product, collaborating with all cross-functional stakeholders to make business decisions and create product strategies and roadmaps to ensure the long-term sustainability of those product or product lines.  You will act as the primary “voice of customer” in the Technology organization.  You will possess deep understandings of the 3rd-party products available, contributing to build, partner, and buy decisions.  You will also be responsible for identifying Indigo’s competitive landscape, clearly articulating product capabilities as leading, parity and lagging in associated product or product line strategies for each.  You will be an active participant in marketing strategies for product or product line. You will be your products biggest fan and storyteller internally and externally.

  • 5+ years of Software Product management
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis to meet with customers as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Agronomic or agriculture experience desired
  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience with big data and analytics
  • Experience working with software engineering teams in an agile / lean development environment
  • Experience building user interfaces and workflows that delight customers
  • Experience with agriculture software tools and products a plus
