Transport Offer Management Lead

The Transport Offer Management Lead position is responsible for the creation and strategic positioning of the Transport Offering Portfolio.  This individual will define the strategy and roadmap that ensures the offer successfully addresses market problems and is strategically positioned within the broader Indigo portfolio.  The Transport Offer Management Lead will report to the Head of Global Transport.  

 

Responsibilities:

Customer Centricity:

  • Complete a segmentation analysis, prioritizing and sequencing customer segments with accompanying Transport Offering value propositions into an offer development roadmap that describes how the offer and market will evolve in phases over the next 3-5 years

Transport Strategy:

  • Develop a Transport offer portfolio plan that details the products and services required to deliver the offer roadmap, including a gap analysis to identify capabilities that need to be developed to build and deliver those products or services
  • Refine the distribution strategy for each offer and customer segment, including building a landscape analysis and refined partnership strategy
  • Perform an inventory of applicable regional laws pertaining to development and delivery of products and services in the offer portfolio and develop an operational plan to ensure current and ongoing compliance

Future of Work:

  • Develop a business case for the next-phase offer portfolio of products and services, linking grower, buyer, shipper, and carrier needs with business goals to outline growth targets, unit economics, and risks to mitigate

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ work experience in developing software products and platforms
  • 5-10 years of experience in Transport and/or agriculture sectors preferred
  • Proven experience leading the creation of (from concept to delivery) and/or managing a software & services platform that includes web, mobile, APIs, big data, machine learning, and workflows
  • Proven ability to build, lead, manage, and empower a high-performing, cross-functional team
  • Multi-modal experience a plus
  • Significant experience in agriculture, transport, or both, with an intimate understanding of industry players and market forces
  • Experience managing complex and fast-paced projects with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Experience with building financial models to support business plans and resource allocations to their offering portfolio and experience managing offering (product) contribution margins preferred
  • Experience leading in a high-growth company or managing a new or high growth product/offering preferred
  • MBA/advanced degree preferred
