The role of Regenerative Ag Specialist will develop and lead implementation of farmer scale regenerative ag systems to transition from conventional to regenerative ag practices.

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead implementation of farmer scale regenerative ag systems to transition from conventional to regenerative ag practices
  • Serve as a mentor by facilitating 1-on-1 and 1-to-many with Agronomists in region; 1-to-many workshops; and ride-alongs during season. Develop mentoring and train-the-trainer program for scale 
  • Provide Sales support by conducting ride-alongs with GAMs during sales process, and 1-to-many consults on regen-specific leads, positioning, closing, etc. Develop Sales support and train-the-trainer program for scale
  • Lead initiatives that build awareness and understanding for adoption of Regenerative Practices, such as Regen Field Days, Carbon Cup, and other Terraton-related events
  • Serve as regional resource and expert for Regenerative innovation on Indigo commercial acres, and provide guidance and recommendations to Indigo Research Partners, Systems Innovation, and GeoInnovation
  • Collaborate with Agronomy Operations to develop Call Plans, Scouting content, and data collection protocols
  • Provide local resources and support for growers (i.e., NRCS, USDA)
  • Work collaboratively with Commercial Productivity & Training team to develop and facilitate Knowledge Forums and Training sessions for grower-facing teams, focused on how Regenerative practices can lead to earning Carbon Credits
  • Provide directional vision and agronomic insights on agronomist and grower facing beneficial ag tools
  • Coach and train regional agronomy team and growers on regenerative ag best practices on an on-going basis
  • Build a network of new growers that have adopted regenerative ag practices 
  • Improve grower profitability by implementing regenerative ag practices

 Qualifications:

  • BS preferred
