The role of Head of R&D, Europe is responsible for the management, coordination and completion of all aspects of Indigo Agricultural microbial products development and commercialization in Europe. The role serves as an R&D business partner for the Head of Indigo, Europe, reporting to Vice President, Indigo International R&D Business Partner.


  1. Be an R&D business partner for the Head of Indigo Europe on all aspects of R&D in Europe:
    • Balance the functional priorities with the business priorities to deliver local business results
    • Facilitate technical decision making and communication from global to local and local to global
    • Serve as a single point of contact for R&D for Indigo Europe and global organization
  2. Lead locally the Focused sourcing platform of Indigo Research and Product Development for Europe
  3. Connect Indigo Europe Target Product Profiles (TPP’s) with deliverables to Indigo Focused sourcing and Leveraged programs in Europe
  4. Execute locally all aspects of Indigo Agricultural Microbial Products Development and Commercialization for Europe business
  5. Provide pre- and post-commercialization Technical support to Commercial team and to Customers
  6. Manage locally Indigo Quality Assurance and testing
  7. Manage locally CRO partnerships
  8. Manage locally R&D partnerships
  9. Manage locally Regulatory Affairs
  10. Build and lead the Technical Team of Indigo Europe to execute and deliver the above listed

  • 10+ years of technical agribusiness experience in Europe
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in agricultural engineering, agronomy or agribusiness
  • Strong expertise and experience in commercializing innovative agricultural products
