The role of ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Logistics Business Analyst will provide industry-leading application design and implementation support and data analytics for mission-critical Logistics and Transport teams, underpinning supply chain, inventory, and logistics operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior application design and admin support to mission-critical Logistics and Transport teams
  • Execute insightful, and forward-looking analyses of application data and systems to ensure business growth is fully supported by technology
  • Proactively engage with application partners to identify emerging business needs and plan future application development
  • Partner effectively with technology colleagues to support integration of application data to corporate reporting and analytics ecosystem and applications (ex. Oracle ERP)
  • Liaise productively with third-party application vendors and support agents to ensure proper application function and user experience

 Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to extract, analyze, and report complex operations application datasets (ex. Supply Chain, Inventory, Logistics) using SQL, Data Visualization, and Business Intelligence tools
  • Clear understanding of data exchange and application integration protocol and architectural styles
  • Understanding of strategies for diagnosis and remediation of app data system failures, including resolution of business rules conflicts
  • Basic familiarity with application UI and UX best practices
  • Familiar with end-to-end order-to-delivery processes (and associated app functionality)
  • Passionate about gathering and analyzing business requirements
  • Skilled at using service desk ticket systems; strong understanding of application change management best practices
  • Effectively prioritizes app development initiatives, resources, and schedule conflicts
  • Superior written and oral communications skills
  • Engages empathetically with app stakeholders
  • Embodies and shows passion for Indigo’s mission and core values

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years professional experience in IT/Technology organization OR in Supply Chain/Logistics organization
    • 3-5 years experience providing direct enterprise application management and support services (ex. Kuebix TMS, Oracle, SAP, MercuryGate) preferred
    • 3-5 years practical, daily experience in application data management, extraction, and analysis preferred
  • Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, taking initiative in the absence of structured systems/processes
  • Prior experience with direct user support and engagement
  • Experience supporting business process efficiency reviews, application testing and validation, and application roll-out and user training
