  • Own all aspects of starting Indigo’s European Carbon Market; once established, transition to full P&L ownership for IndigoCarbon in Europe
  • Lead collaboration with the global team to create go-to-market strategy for Indigo’s first international IndigoCarbon pilot
  • Hire and lead a world-class sales team focused on B2B sales with influential companies in order to create significant demand for carbon credits and source demand from major foundations
  • Design a robust protocol strategy for certifying carbon credits in the European market and build a network of relationships with senior leaders of European carbon registries
  • Enable farmers to improve their profitable and soil resilience by building the process for measuring and certifying carbon sequestration in a scalable way, catalyzing farmers’ qualification for carbon credits in Europe

  • Advanced degree required (e.g. MBA or relevant)
  • English fluency required, second major European language strongly preferred (e.g. German, French, Spanish)
  • Experience with or demonstrated passion for carbon credits, sustainability, or agriculture
  • Demonstrated experience running an organization with strong cross-functional partnerships, or highly complex projects
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Able to be based in Basel and travel up to 50% of the time
