Consumer Products, Supply Planner:

 The role of ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Consumer Products, Supply Planner is pivotal in ensuring processes and plans are in place to meet retail and consumer demand for consumer products.  The ICP Supply Planner will work closely with the leadership team in Indigo Consumer Products and other Supply Chain functions to plan the end-to-end supply chain production and distribution requirements for on-time delivery and inventory management.  As a key player in planning, this role will also lead the necessary technology projects to provide the functionality and visibility needed for the anticipated growth and scale of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Within 30 days coordinate efforts between Harvest coordinators, Mills, co-packers, warehousing, and retailers:
    • Within 90 days analyze slow moving, expiring, and obsolete inventory to achieve inventory goals
  • Drives the Weekly Planning Meeting - collecting inputs from Channel & Supply Chain within the first 30 days
  • Manages with excellence the supply plan and scheduling process for the CPG portfolio both internally and externally- within 60 days
  • Within 60 days identify gaps and develop scenario based analysis to evaluate options and contingency plans
  • Within 90 days actively manage exceptions of “over” and “under” forecast versus consumption

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of Oracle experience, or other ERP required 
  • Experience using Demantra, Hyperion, Oracle, Manugistics, SAP APO or similar demand planning applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of time series forecast models and how they are used in volume forecasting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of material disposition management 
  • Six Sigma and lean manufacturing experience a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Consumer Products planning (preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Products / Food / Grocery) 
  • Familiarity with GFSI Food Safety Schemes, FSMA, SFTA (Safe Food Transportation Act), and FDA regulations required 
  • Relevant experience in the following: purchase order management, capacity planning, S&OP, inventory management, supplier performance management, logistics management, Materials Requirement Planning 
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
