The role of Quality and Testing Assistant, Australia will coordinate Quality related testing in Australia. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Become a business partner within the broader organization
    • Balance the functional priorities with the business priorities to deliver local business results
  • Indigo Product (Dry and/or Liquid format) QC test
    • Schedule test with CRO, prepare and ship samples in an appropriate condition within Australia
    • Track testing status, check analysis results, and upload them to instructed data storage location
    • Review data and communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Chemical Compatibility test
    • Generate test subject with selected chemical seed treatment and Indigo product
    • Schedule test with CRO, prepare and ship samples in an appropriate condition within Australia
    • Track testing status, check analysis results, and upload them to instructed data storage location
    • Review data and communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Seed Quality test – Conduct Seed germination test internally and/or via third parties
    • Pre-treated seed
    • Treated seed
    • Track testing status, check analysis results, and upload them to instructed data storage location
    • Review data and communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Grain Quality test
    • Conduct or coordinate Grain Quality test for locally required grain test criteria
    • Track testing status, check analysis results, and upload them to instructed data storage location
    • Review data and communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Storage Management of testing materials
    • Ensure testing materials (Indigo products, seed, treated seed, chemicals, etc.) are maintained at required storage condition
    • Ensure the availability of equipment, consumables including shipping materials
  • General support of other R&D functions in Australia on as-needed basis
    • Assist other R&D functions such as International Field Trials team
    • Work with International Field Trials lead to schedule & conduct regular field visits
    • Effective communication with International Field Trials lead & CROs to ensure field trials meet objectives
    • Document site visits and CRO meetings & share findings with key stakeholders
  • Post sales product / field testing data to validate efficacy or problems
