  • Build relationships across the Indigo organization
    • Build cross-functional relationships with Accounting, Tax, Hedging, Treasury; understand distinct roles and responsibilities of each
    • Partner with corporate functions and other international office locations
  • Provide strategic decision support and act as Finance Business Partner to local team
    • Develop financial analysis to support key commercial decisions --- including profitability analysis, cash flow projections, and NPV modeling
  • Assess future opportunities and risks
    • Including a process to capture, review regularly, and drive opportunity-capture and risk-mitigation
  • Develop a financial plan to deliver against budget targets with clear understanding of commercial risks and opportunities
  • Lead all financial and scenario planning processes:
    • Annual budgeting process
    • Periodic forecasting process
    • Long range planning process
  • Develop strong understanding of local business
  • Tailor key Finance initiatives for implementation aligned with local market conditions
  • Manage outsourced vendor relationship with accounting and tax vendors as needed
  • Build and scale the Finance team to support the growth of the local operating company
  • Own local reporting and compliance; manage all statutory reporting requirements for the local operating company
  • Assist with intercompany loan drawdown and repayment process; coordinate paperwork/resolutions as necessary
  • Provide strategic business partnering support to Country Head, including perspectives on the business more broadly, not just with respect to Finance
  • Help build an understanding of credit risk and development of credit policy in local country
  • Assist with workplace injury insurance placement/renewal as necessary
  • Assist in negotiating key contracts
  • Adopt and implement a system to centralize reporting control and functions, aligned with business needs, Indigo systems and Indigo future SOX program
  • Prepare and evaluate capital expenditure projects, manage cash flow planning and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain commercial relationships with local banks and financial institutions in conjunction with Treasury

  • 10+ years’ of experience in financial management and financial reporting (both local and export)
  • CPA or equivalent preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating, developing, and implementing business plans
  • Commodity experience a plus
  • Prior agriculture experience strongly preferred
  • Previous internet B2B experience helpful
  • Previous international experience strongly preferred
  • Able to travel within country and to/from Boston as needed
  • Fluency in English required
