The Sr. Sales Recruiter will play a key role on the People team at Indigo.  This role will have responsibility recruiting for our sales organization both in Memphis and the field. The ideal candidate is an excellent team player who has experience recruiting high volume sales roles. In addition, this person will need to build strong relationships with senior leaders and continue to build on a strong existing recruiting process. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Successfully recruit top performers to support company goals, with an emphasis on Indigo’s sales team

  • Become an expert on Indigo’s overall recruiting process and systems
  • Quickly find and move candidates through the funnel to build an organization of A players
  • Build a pipeline of sales talent that aligns with Indigo’s business needs and culture

 

Become an expert on Indigo’s recruiting process and enhance it where possible

  • Screen candidates at the top of the funnel bringing strong relevant sales profiles to hiring managers
  • Enhance Indigo’s overall sales recruiting capabilities through excellent performance, and through coaching the recruiting team on best practices in sales recruiting
  • Confidently run a smooth and seamless recruiting and screening process; provide training to new hiring managers where necessary

 

Be a thought partner to commercial hiring managers to successfully lead recruiting efforts for open roles

  • Build excellent trust-based relationships with all Regional Account Managers, Marketplace Account Management leaders and Inside Sales leaders
  • Meet weekly with hiring managers to drive efficient process on all roles, creating decks to report on metrics and status
  • Contribute industry leading sales recruiting strategies to Indigo (including alternative and creative sourcing platforms)
  • Maintains all recruiting data and reporting metrics with a high level of confidentiality and accuracy

 

Communicate Indigo’s story in a clear and compelling way that excites candidates

  • Quickly learn the Indigo story, key elements of the talent brand proposition, and demonstrate strong ability to communicate the story and reasons to work at Indigo
  • Ensure any external recruiter partners know the Indigo story and are seen as an extension of the Indigo Recruiting team

 

Work closely with Head of People to create strong content for Indigo brand, with an emphasis on sales

  • Identify key sales conferences, events and meetups where Indigo should have a strong presence to build the brand, and ensure strong Indigo representation at these events
  • Help manage content on Glassdoor and Linkedin and update regularly
  • Ensure an exceptional recruiting experience for candidates and for Indigo employees

Qualifications:

  • S. Degree with strong academic track record
  • 3-7 years of experience as a recruiter primarily focused on sales, at a company known for having an excellent commercial organization
  • Experience with sales assessment tools a plus
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter a plus
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse a plus
  • Strong network of sales professionals in Memphis and rural areas, and/or a clear approach to building network quickly once onboard
  • Location flexible, but must be willing to travel 30-50% depending on location
