As a Remote Sensing Data Engineer on the GeoInnovation Team at Indigo, you will collaborate closely with both Engineers and Data Scientists to understand geographical and sensor data and integrate the disparate data sets into the UDP. In this role, you will be the bridge between Data Science and Engineering, building, scaling, driving Data Science solutions into production. This is an extremely collaborative, cross-functional role that addresses incredibly large datasets to solve impactful problems.
Break down data and write algorithms for new sensors
Independently research and integrate new sensor data into production within existing system
Collaborate with Data Sciences and Engineering to drive scalable engineering solutions
Delight users across the organization by ensuring access to data that is necessary for those users to make informed decisions
Highly familiar with different remote sensing data sources (satellites, weather sensors, etc.)
