The role of the Indigo Research Partners Intern is to work in the fields and help Technical Service Representatives and Hub Managers understand the effect of various technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing startup with a mission of harnessing nature to help farmers sustainably feed the planet. This role is expected to require 40 hours per week.
Develop and help manage/collect data in the fields
Document where all of Indigo’s fields are and ground truth as directed by Hub Staff.
Manage the photo documentation of all plant data and plots with a camera or a drone
Assist with any additional projects the Indigo Partners team may need
Background in agriculture and farming preferred
Excellent documentation skills
Strong ability to read and interpret maps
Pays careful attention to detail
Willing to work long hours outside
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
