Job Title: Senior Director, HealthCare Applications
Base Salary: $175k, based on years of experience and skillset
Location: West coast, USA
Work model: Remote
Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of travel within the United States.

Job Summary:

As a Director of Healthcare Application Product Management and Technology Architecture, you will manage our NEST Platform Strategy, Application Solution Design, Application Selection and Configuration, Application Development, Integration and Support in partnership with our Care Community Leaders at Indigenous Pact. You will have responsibility for overseeing application solution strategy, product management, application selection, configuration and ongoing application support.
The Director plays a pivotal role in imagining, designing, leading, building, implementing and scaling the NEST platform strategy and architecture for our healthcare organization. This individual will possess a deep understanding of healthcare systems, data, and processes, and will leverage their expertise to design, develop, and maintain a robust and scalable application ecosystem.
Essential Job Functions:
- Enterprise Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns with business goals and supports the organization's mission.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): Provide technical leadership and guidance in the selection, implementation, and optimization of EHR systems. Ensure seamless integration of EHRs with other clinical and administrative applications.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Oversee the design and implementation of CRM solutions to enhance patient engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Care Delivery Systems: Design and implement technology solutions that support efficient and effective care delivery across various settings.
- Product Management: Lead the development and execution of product roadmaps for healthcare applications. Manage the entire product lifecycle from conception to deployment and ongoing support.
- Product architect experience: Combining visionary technical expertise with a deep understanding of the healthcare domain to create robust, secure, and compliant product solutions that improve patient care, streamline operations and deliver an excellent member experience.
- Application Strategy, Design Thinking & Innovation: Develop and implement application strategies that support the organization's business objectives and technology vision.
- Application Selection & Application Vendor Management: Lead the evaluation and selection of healthcare applications. Ensure that selected applications meet functional and technical requirements.
- Configuration, Development, and Integration: Oversee the configuration, development, and integration of healthcare applications. Ensure that applications are interoperable and seamlessly exchange data.
- Data Architecture Decision Making, Analytics, and AI Models: Make informed decisions on technology and data architecture. Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Ongoing Application Support: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for healthcare applications. Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Hands-on configuration: Experience and interest in hands-on EHR and Healthcloud configuration, application product and technical architecture documentation, and application development management
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare package software application
- 5+ years of experience in a technical architect role
- Experience working in healthcare organizations, healthcare application product and technology development and support organizations that focus on Digitally Enabled Care, Virtual Care, Telemedicine, Virtual-First Primary Care
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex healthcare applications
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, EHRs, CRMs, care delivery systems, and product management
- Experience in the medical group and health plan settings
- Ability and interest in managing as well as designing, architecting, building and configuring healthcare application solutions
- Demonstrated ability to be strategic and resolve technology and data architecture challenges
- Experience in healthcare payer and digital health consumer-oriented environments is a plus.
