indie is empowering the Autotech revolution with next generation automotive semiconductors and software platforms. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.
TeraXion, part of indie Photonics, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in laser technology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the laser or photonics industry, with a focus on the fiber optic sensing DAS, communications, medical and scientific imaging markets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and building long-term customer relationships. This position is 100% remote and requires the candidate to be located in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned territories.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical consultation and product presentations to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and marketing, to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with market needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant science or engineering field (e.g., Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering).
- Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the laser or photonics industry, with a focus on the fiber optic sensing, communications, medical and scientific imaging markets.
- Strong technical knowledge of laser technologies and applications.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
