The Opportunity 
 
We seek a proactive and technical Business Analyst to join our product management team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing market trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating business needs into actionable insights. Your primary responsibility will be to support the product management team in developing and optimizing our products to meet customer expectations and drive business growth. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Provide general administrative support to the product management team, including scheduling and managing calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings, and managing expenses and travel.  
  • Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
  • Conduct data analysis to monitor product performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Support the product management team in prioritizing features and defining product release plans.  
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.  
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and customer needs. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document product requirements and specifications. 
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate product functionality and usability. 
  • Provide regular reports and presentations on product performance and insights to stakeholders. 
  • Assist in product launch activities, including creating user documentation, training materials, and internal communications, and provide ongoing support to the sales and customer success teams. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 
  • Experience: minimum 1+ years of experience in a similar business analyst role or internship experience. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. SQL skills are a huge plus. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex information clearly and concisely. 
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies and understanding of technical concepts and limitations.
  • Detail-oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • User-Centric Mindset: A passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing startup environment and embrace ambiguity.
