InCharge Energy is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to work in our Richmond, Virginia office. As part of the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with the HR Director and other team members to support the organization's human resources objectives.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team at InCharge Energy. As the Human Resources Generalist, you will play a crucial role managing employee relations issues, administering benefits programs, and maintaining HR records and documentation. Other responsibilities may include compensation band analysis, and helping to establish growth opportunities within the organization. Your expertise in these areas will significantly contribute to our overall success as we continue to expand and strive for excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Employee Relations: Skills in managing employee relations, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Conflict Resolution: Skills in mediating and resolving workplace conflicts professionally and constructively.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically and contribute Human Resources insights to the organization's overall strategy.
- Human Resources Laws and Regulations: A deep understanding of employment laws and Human Resources regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Develop and maintain compensation bands and structures that align with industry standards and support our talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Develop, enhance, and administer HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
- Act as a strategic business partner, providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
- Oversee employee relations initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Your Experience and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources
- SHRM-CP or PHP preferred.
- Managerial Leadership skills, ability to effectively manage and motivate staff as an individual contributor.
- Managerial Leadership skills in coaching and development
- Excellent communication both oral and writing skills, adapt the level of communication to the audience.
- Ability to manage difficult and complex tasks within tight timeframes and several projects at one time.
- Experience working across multiple locations strongly preferred.
- Ability to work across and integrate diverse activities.
- Good planning, long term strategy design and work prioritization skills
- Excellent analyzing skills and techniques (including process design)
- Strong focus on service quality, including both customer service and safety.
- Leads change - Demonstrates the confidence and flexibility to accept, embrace, initiate change, work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to inspire support and empower others to achieve team goals using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods.
