The Team

The Finance Team is responsible for executing Imprint’s financial strategy and empowering teams with insightful analysis, cross functional collaboration, and operational rigor. We work closely with our leaders, investors, Bank Partners, and merchant partners to execute company strategy and build financial discipline as we scale through our next stage of hyper-growth.

The Job

The Senior Accountant at Imprint Payments Inc. is essential for ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency, focusing on tasks like reconciling data streams, managing bank accounts, analyzing revenue, and streamlining accounting processes. This role also involves preparing financial reports & updating finance processes. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, preferably be a CPA, and bring at least 5 years of experience with US GAAP standards. Key to success are strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and Netsuite experience.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Proven expertise in managing and reconciling multiple data streams, including transactional data between ledgers and accounting systems, to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
  • Conduct daily bank account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure precise financial records
  • Trace and analyze revenue by co-brand program, providing reports to support revenue recognition and align with financial strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes for co-brand programs
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of each program's P&L and ensure its accuracy
  • Follow up on identified operational issues, ensuring the finance team is effectively represented in the solution process to maintain financial integrity
  • Regularly document and update finance processes

We Are Looking For Folks With

  • Extensive experience in the credit card industry, with a strong focus on co-branded credit card partnerships, ensuring comprehensive understanding of industry-specific financial practices and regulations
  • Familiarity with ASC 310 as it relates to the credit card industry and ASC 326 CECL
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on treasury and financial management
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to treasury management and financial reporting

Annual salary range: $105k - $120k, and competitive equity package
