Analytical Chemistry group is an integral part of the company which interacts with multiple team in R&D, product development, and manufacturing particularly in method development for Quality Control

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Preparation of samples for protein titer and purity analysis
  • Analysis of protein titer and purity, and lipid oxidation
  • Interpretation of chromatography and UV/vis data
  • Writing sample reports
  • Basic instrument maintenance and preparation of mobile phases and stock solutions

Education And/Or Experience

  • BS in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field
  • Good working knowledge of UV/vis and HPLC, experience with SEC of proteins is a plus
  • 2-4 years of experience preparing samples for HPLC/UV analysis, performing the analysis and interpreting and reporting the data following SOPs
  • Experience with sample preparation of protein samples from yeast of other microbial fermentation cultures
  • Experience with Chromeleon software is a plus
  • Experience working in Quality Control is highly desirable

  • Understanding sources of error in sample preparation and analysis and using appropriate laboratory skills to achieve high level of assay accuracy and precision
  • Ability to follow SOPs
  • Ability to meet deadline to release sample data
  • Excellent reporting skills, consistency and attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills
