A massive opportunity exists to tell the Impossible Foods story, make the brand globally recognizable, and deeply engage with consumers and the world at large. To be successful, the SVP Marketing needs to be someone who has a passionate connection with our mission to solve a great global problem and transform the world's food system by making Impossible Foods' products available anywhere animal-based food products are sold (restaurants, retail outlets, etc.).
You will play a critical role instilling an interest in, and desire for, Impossible Foods products among current meat consumers. This includes an appreciation and understanding of how Impossible Foods creates their products and why. You will demonstrate the ability to inspire new behavior & followership, particularly related to visceral and intimate choices (e.g. food).
With voracious curiosity, irreverence for conventional thinking and a natural desire to challenge assumptions, you will employ an evidence-based approach to marketing - one that begins from first principles and does not simply rely on widely accepted tactics from a traditional playbook.
Comfortable as a player/coach in a work environment where leaders are hands-on, your success will require a deeply analytical and forward-looking mind, wired to think cross-functionally, spanning teams grounded in science, engineering, business, and food.
