Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial financial support and insights for the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. This role involves conducting comprehensive financial projections, analyzing current performance, and developing detailed reports to inform business decisions. The FP&A Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective financial planning and optimization.

 

Duties/ Responsibilities: 

  • Provide financial support and insights for the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of GAAP principles, with a particular focus on revenue recognition standards to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct and manage comprehensive financial projections to forecast future business performance, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources to inform business strategies and operational decisions.
  • Develop and deliver detailed reports that offer data-driven answers to complex business questions, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of advanced financial models used for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze current financial performance in comparison to historical data and forecasted results, identifying variances and underlying causes.
  • Identify emerging financial trends, and provide actionable recommendations for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and overall financial optimization.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive financial planning and support business initiatives with robust financial analysis.

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles, particularly in revenue recognition.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
